Webconferences and Webcasts of Conferences

The next conference is in Chile in 2012. The last face to face event was in Sigatoka Fiji in July 2010. Previous conferences were in Townsville, Australia in November 2008, and Honolulu, Hawaii in January 2007. All the face to face onferences had an online conference and all sessions were webcast. Also presenters not able to be present were able to present using webinar technology from Elluminate and Marratech.

The IPMEN Webconference and Webcast Project

The International Pacific Marine Educators Network Conference is held every two years. We use webconferencing and webcasting services and facilitative processes from the College of Exploration to enable anyone to participate online.

After you press play note the cc button appears at the bottom right of the player. Use your mouse to roll over the cc button, select Caption Options ->Translate Captions ->Select Language, then OK to translate the captions to other languages, for example Japanese and Chinese.
